A Copilot readiness assessment checks whether your data, permissions and governance are ready for Microsoft 365 Copilot. Because Copilot can surface any file a person can already open, it finds oversharing before AI does and gives you a prioritised plan to fix it. It is a fixed price of £999 and takes 4 to 6 weeks, with read-only access.

Copilot can surface any file a person can already open. If permissions are loose, AI makes that visible on day one. This assessment shows you where, before you decide how far to go.
What we look at
- Licensing: which Copilot and Microsoft 365 licences you hold, who has them, and whether the plans you are on support the rollout you have in mind
- Identity: how people sign in, multi-factor authentication, admin roles, and accounts that should no longer exist
- Data permissions: SharePoint sites, Teams and OneDrive folders shared with everyone, with external guests or by open links, and the sensitive files inside them
- Governance: sensitivity labels, retention and data loss prevention, and whether they are set up to limit what Copilot can surface
- AI policy and people: whether staff know what they may and may not put into AI tools, and who owns the decision to expand use
- Use cases: the tasks where Copilot is likely to help in your business, so a pilot is aimed at real work rather than a demo
Access we need
A Microsoft 365 account with read-only reporting roles (for example Global Reader) for the length of the assessment. Nothing in your tenant is changed, and the access is removed when the work ends.

Is this only for businesses using Copilot already?
No. It is most useful before rollout, but it also helps if Copilot is already in use and you want to know what it can reach.
What does an assessment cost?
Each assessment is a fixed price of £999, agreed before we start. There is no hourly billing.
How long does an assessment take?
4 to 6 weeks. Your team's time is limited to a scoping conversation and giving us read-only access to the relevant environment.
Will you change anything in our systems?
No. Access is read-only during the assessment. We look before we touch, and any changes happen only if you later decide to act on the findings.
Do we keep the report?
Yes. The findings, cost view and roadmap are yours to use, whether you act on them with us, with another supplier or in-house.
Do you sell Microsoft licences?
We are an authorised Microsoft CSP partner. Every assessment is scoped and priced separately from any licence sale.
